About The Center for Transformative Change (CXC)
The Center of Transformative Change (CXC) is the first national center entirely dedicated to bridging the inner and outer lives of social change agents, activists and allies to support a more effective, more sustainable movement of social justice for all.
We believe that when agents of change are supported in living more balanced lives, they are empowered to create more effective, lasting change in the world.
Whether that is in health care reform, education, homelessness, the environment, fair housing, LGBT rights, immigrant rights, women’s rights, rights for people of color, rights for youth…healthy, balanced champions mean rights for everyone.
We are corralling, encouraging and begging organizations and local movements like yours to take the idea to “SIT4Change” and make this day as powerful as possible at Occupy sites, at home and around the world.

All proceeds from SIT4Change go to launching the “Who’s Driving Change?” Tour in 2012. “Who’s Driving Change?” is a new media experience designed to capture the imagination of progressive activists and inspires them to take a new, deeper look at their inner lives. The “Who’s Driving Change?” Tour is a video-driven experiential presentation to be delivered directly and through new media channels throughout the field.
“Who’s Driving Change?” Tour is a key initiative of the Presence Project. The Presence Project is a multi-pronged campaign to catalyze a broad-based paradigm shift in work for progressive social change to fundamentally value compassion, balance and sustainability.
